Error 0xc0000185 - Predator 18

Upon startup, I receive the following error message:
‘Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. File. \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD Status. 0xc0000185 Info. The Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors’.
This issue appeared unexpectedly, without any recent hardware or software changes, or any prior problem.
To fix it I have unsuccessfully tried:
1. to reset the BIOS settings to default, but the issue persists
2. I attempted to repair the system using Windows 11 Recovery via a bootable USB drive and performed ‘Startup Repair’. But the following message was displayed ‘Startup Repair couldn't repair your PC’.
3. In the Command Prompt, I executed “bootrec /fixboot’ but recieved the message ‘access denied’.
Moreover, what is strange is that my only ssd appears in the BIOS under HDD1 (HDD0 is none…), but in the command prompt it doesn't appear with "diskpart","list disk". Only the USB recovery drive is listed.

I would really appreciate any assistance in diagnosing this issue further and advising on the possible steps to fix the problem.

Hi, not AFAIK, there may be a bad HDD sector or SSD problem with HDD0, you have to open the laptop or take it to Acer Services in your country.

It is a laptop and still under warranty, so I don't want to open it at all.
Do you see any other option to try to fix it without removing HDD1?

Just one more question before, if you don't mind:

In the BIOS, there is no sdd listed under HDD0. "HDD0 model: None"
But a ssd (The ssd), is listed under HDD1.

Is it normal? or expected to have it like that?

As I wrote earlier, I haven't change anything in terms of hardware.

You are welcome, if you have 2 storage drives and the boot drive is a 2.5" Sata HDD that will be detected as HDD0, if you don't have a Sata HDD but 2 M.2 SSDs in the PCIe slots the one that is set as the primary drive (boot drive) in the BIOS BOOT screen at the top of the boot devices list, that drive will be detected, after booting to BIOS, as HDD1 by BIOS. I assume you have a bootable drive with Windows OS in one of the M.2 slots and you moved this drive to the top in the boot devices list?

OK,
To make it clear, I only have 1 storage drive in my laptop.
As it is the only drive, Windows OS used to boot on it.
And yes it was at the top in the boot devices list.

Hi, you can try changing the Sata mode in BIOS, Information screen, press Ctrl+S in BIOS to show the hidden options and if Sata mode is set to RST and Optane, change that to AHCI and press F10 (save changes) and exit, try to boot. I checked my laptop and also have HDD0 as None in Bios and HDD1 is my boot drive (NVMe SSD) so that is normal.
