How to uninstall applications not listed in Programs and Features

How can i uninstall an application that is not listed in Programs and Features in the control panel, like for example Amazon Assistant?

It is recommended to uninstall application via Apps in the Settings, or Program and Features in the Control Panel. If an application is not listed there, try the following:

Click the Start menu.
Scroll the app list until you find the application you want to remove. Right-click the icon, and select Uninstall.

Note: some applications are part of the Operating System and cannot be removed.
