How do I protect my synced passwords on my Acer Chromebook?
To ensure your information is kept private, Google Chrome uses a cryptographic key generated from your Google Account password to encrypt your synced passwords by default. You can choose to use a sync passphrase instead of your Google Account password. Your passphrase is stored locally on your computer and isn’t sent to Google.
For more information to protect and recover your passwords, visit Google's Protect your synced passwords page.
