Improve startup time for Aspire R3-131T

Why does my Aspire R3-131T take a long time to boot to Windows when it is not plugged in?

Some Acer Aspire R3-131T systems may take longer than expected to start when using battery power. Installing the latest BIOS update can improve the boot time for R3-131T systems with 500GB or 1TB hard drives.

Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
Select BIOS/Firmware.
Click the Download link for the file you want to download.
Follow the instructions in the readme.txt file to install the BIOS.

Note: Systems with 32GB and 64GB SSD drives will not experience slower boot times.
