Aspire AZ3-715 may freeze or lockup

This article only applies to: Aspire AZ3-715 systems

Some Acer Aspire Z3-715 systems may freeze or lockup, requiring you to completely power off the system. You can download BIOS R01. A2 (or later) to resolve this issue.

Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
Select BIOS/Firmware.
Click the Download link for the file you want to download.
Unzip the file and run double-click Flash.bat to install the BIOS.
