Adjust battery power management settings to get better battery life

Why does my battery not last as long as it should?

Most mobile computers use Intel U series processors which are designed for ultra-low power consumption. Some Acer models use an Intel H series processor that is designed for high performance. This allows the system to provide maximum power to the CPU and GPU when needed, which can quickly discharge your battery. We recommend connecting the AC adapter when performing processor and video intensive applications whenever possible.
