Why does my battery not last as long as it should?
Most mobile computers use Intel U series processors which are designed for ultra-low power consumption. Some Acer models use an Intel H series processor that is designed for high performance. This allows the system to provide maximum power to the CPU and GPU when needed, which can quickly discharge your battery. We recommend connecting the AC adapter when performing processor and video intensive applications whenever possible.
By default, your computer’s power management settings are configured for maximum performance. You can adjust your power management settings to help improve your battery runtime using the instructions at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpnhmh7fZIg&t=1.
