Install Android apps on your Chromebook - Acer Community
<main> <article class="userContent"> <h2 data-id="can-i-install-android-apps-from-the-google-play-store-on-my-chromebook"><em>Can I install Android Apps from the Google Play Store on my Chromebook?</em></h2><p>Google is providing Android App store support for <a href="https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/6401474" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">selected Chromebook models</a>. You must have a supported Chromebook model with the latest OS to enable the Google Play store. Use the steps below to enable the Android App store on your Chromebook.</p><p><strong>Note:</strong> If you’re using your Chromebook at work or school, you might not be able to add the Google Play Store or download Android apps. For more information, contact your administrator.</p><p><strong>1. Make sure you have the latest version of Chrome OS installed.</strong></p><ol><li>Turn on your Chromebook and connect to Wi-Fi.</li><li>Click the time in the lower right corner.</li><li>Select <strong>Settings</strong>.</li><li>Select <strong>Menu </strong>and choose <strong>About Chrome OS</strong>.</li><li>Select <strong>Check for Updates</strong>. If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.</li></ol><p><strong>2. Sign in to the Google Play Store.</strong></p><ol><li>Click the time in the lower right corner.</li><li>Select <strong>Settings.</strong> </li><li>In the "Google Play Store" section, select <strong>Turn on</strong>. If you do not see this option, your Chromebook does not support Android apps.</li><li>In the window that appears, select <strong>More</strong>.</li><li>Read the Terms of Service and select <strong>I Agree</strong> if you accept the terms.</li></ol><p><strong>3.
