How to Check the Storage on Your Chromebook

In ChromeOS, users can easily view and manage the storage on their Chromebook directly in the Settings application.

How to Check the Storage on Your Chromebook

Select the Clock in the lower right corner.
Select the Gear⚙️icon to open the Settings application.
On the left side of the Settings window, select Device.
On the right side, select Storage management.
Towards the top of the screen you'll see how much storage is in use and how much is available.

To see how much storage a specific application utilizes

Select Apps and extensions.
Locate and select the application.
Towards the bottom of the screen you'll see the size of the application and how much storage is utilized by any additional documents or data from the app.
