Why doesn't my Chromebook show the correct date and time when first set up, and why won't it connect to Wi-Fi?

To bypass the certificate error and connect to your network, you’ll need to manually set the date and time.

- Restart your Chromebook – Shut it down completely by clicking the Time > Power Button > Shut down. Do not just close the lid and turn it back on.
