What do the different colors of the LED light on my Acer Wave 7 router stand for?
Your Acer Wave 7 Wi-Fi Mesh router is equipped with an LED light on the front. This LED light changes color to indicate the power status, internet activity and Wi-Fi broadcasting and performance of your router. This makes it easy for you to check the status and see if anything is going on with your router that might need your attention.
Different colors
In the overview below you can find the different Acer Wave 7 LED light colors, behaviors and definitions.
Flashing LED light
- Blue: device is powering on.
- Orange: device is updating the firmware.
- White: device is restoring to factory default settings.
- Green: WPS has been triggered.
Breathing LED light
- Blue: WAN status is good.
- Green: WAN status is normal.
- Orange: WAN status is poor.
Solid LED light
- Red: WAN status is disconnected.
- Blue: device has booted successfully.
Note: Breathing is when the LED gradually transitions between dim and bright.
How to check the LED definitions in the Acer Wave 7 dashboard
You can always find the LED definition descriptions in the Acer Wave 7 dashboard via the Acer Wave 7 app or web interface.
- Log into your Acer Wave 7 router. For instructions, see How to Access Your Acer Wave 7.
- In the left menu, go to System.
- Then click on Main LED in the submenu on the right.
You can now check what the current color of your Acer Wave 7 LED means.
