Memory saver is a new feature that helps free up memory that is used by inactive tabs on Google Chrome. If a tab is inactive, it will be reloaded when it is active again. To prevent the tab from reloading you can turn off the memory saver feature or whitelist the website so that it is not included when memory saver is activated. Use the instruction below to enable or disable your memory saver feature.
- Open your Google Chrome web browser.
- Click the ⋮ menu icon in the top right corner.
- In the More Tools > menu, select Performance.
- Click on the Toggle for memory saver to turn off for all tabs, or click on Add to specify individual websites to turn off memory saver for.
