Why do I need to set all the passwords and SNIDs of my Acer Predator Connect W6 router again?
If the firmware version of your Acer Predator Connect W6 is older than firmware version TA4 (W6_1.04.246514), your device is automatically updated to version TA4 as soon as it is connected to the internet (for the first time after the TA4 firmware update was released).
During the installation of firmware version TA4, the settings of your Acer Predator Connect W6 are automatically reset to the factory default settings. This is why you need to set settings such as passwords and SNIDs again.
Note: Resetting the settings is only required when you update to firmware version TA4. Future firmware updates will NOT require you to reset any settings.
