You may see the following warning message after your Acer CG48 has been powered on for 4 hours.
It is suggested to process Image Retention Refresh when using monitor for more than 4 hours. The blue and amber light will alternate and monitor will be restarted. If confirm, please press Yes. Do not unplug the power during the process.
This message is displayed to help reduce the risk of image retention occurrence. Image Retention Refresh, will start automatically after the monitor is turned off. You can also start Image Retention Refresh manually via OSD menu.
When the Image Retention Refresh process begins, the monitor will display warning message and the power LED will alternate between blue and amber. When the power LED lights go off, this indicates the Image Retention Refresh process is complete. The duration of the Image Retention Refresh is around 5 minutes.
At this time there is not an option to disable the message.
