What should I do if my Chromebook does not wake up or power on after sleep?

Your Chromebook may not wake up or power on after it has been in sleep mode for more than 1 hour. Google has released an OS update that will resolve this issue. If you encounter this issue, you should use the temporary fix below and then update your Chrome OS to 107 or later to prevent it from happening again.

Temporary fix

Plug in your Chromebook.
Press the Power + Refresh + Escape keys at the same time, and then release them.
Once your Chromebook powers on, update your Operating System.
