An internet speed test evaluates your current broadband parameters. A speed test works by sending a file from a speed test server and analyzing the time it takes to download the file onto your local device and then uploading it back to the server.
To perform many high bandwidth activities it is advised to perform an internet speed check. High connection speed and stability are essential for many activities such as virtual business calls, gaming, or streaming. Doing a speed test will let you know if your current internet speed can support the desired activities.
