Why is the remote control of my acerpure pro Air Purifier not working?
There can be four reasons why the remote control of your acerpure pro Air Purifier is not working/responding:
- The remote control may not be pointed at the receiver.
- There may be obstacles between the remote control and the receiver.
- The remote control may be out of its usage range.
- The battery may be dead.
The remote control may not be pointed at the receiver
For the receiver to pick up the signal of the remote control, the remote control needs to be facing the receiver directly. Check if you are pointing the remote control at the receiver correctly by changing the angle of the remote control. Point the remote control downwards and make sure to aim it at the receiver.
There may be obstacles between the remote control and the receiver
If the remote control signal is blocked by objects, its usage range will be reduced and it may not respond. Check if there are any obstacles that may be blocking the signal to the receiver, and remove them.
The remote control may be out of its usage range
The usage range of the remote control is approximately 5 meters to the front of the receiver. When the remote control is used beyond that range, it will not respond. Check if you are not beyond the 5 meter usage range, and move closer to the receiver if necessary.
The battery may be dead
Of course, the battery of your remote control could simply be dead. Check if the battery is dead by replacing the battery with a new CR2-32 battery. For instructions on how to replace the battery, see How to Replace the Battery of Your acerpure pro Air Purifier Remote Control.
