How to Insert an Acer UWA5 Wireless Projection Kit

Where and how do I insert the Acer UWA5 dongle into my Acer H6800/M1328W/M1528 projector?

The Acer H6800, M1328W, and M1528 projectors have an embedded USB port design, which allows the Acer UWA5 Wireless Projection Kit (dongle) to be hidden inside the projectors. This embedded dongle slot does not only conceal the dongle to maintain the clean look and feel of the projectors, the design also prevents the dongle from being stolen since the dongle cannot be taken out easily once inserted.

Note: The Acer UWA5 Wireless Projection Kit is an accessory and is sold separately.

How to insert the Acer UWA5 dongle into the dongle slot

1. On the back of the projector there is a sticker with “WIRELESS KIT” on it. See the image below for reference.

Remove the sticker by the small ribbon on the upper left side to get access to the dongle slot.

2. Take the Acer UWA5 dongle and turn it until the CE logo on the back side of the dongle is upside down.

3. When you are sure the CE logo is upside down, firmly push the dongle into the dongle slot.

Note: Putting the Acer UWA5 dongle in the slot the wrong way, and trying to remove it, might cause damage to the projector (slot) and/or dongle.
