How can I update the software version of my Acer Predator Connect X5?

To check for and install software updates on your Acer Predator Connect X5, follow the steps below.

Go to your web browser.
Type either 192.168.76.1:8080 or http://connect.acer in the search bar.
Log into the Connect X5 using the password that can be found on the bottom of your device.
Click on the System tab in the dashboard.
Click on Firmware update. The current firmware/software version will now be displayed.
Click on Check new to check for a new version of the software. If a new firmware/software version is available the system will prompt to download and install the new version.
