Acer Nitro may not power on if AC adapter is not fully inserted

Why is my new Nitro 5 not turning on?

Applies to: AN515-44, AN515-55, AN517-52 models

Some Acer Nitro systems use an improved AC adapter connection that helps secure the AC adapter. The adapter may feel like it is fully inserted, but requires a secondary push to fully seat the connection. You should hear a slight click when the AC adapter is fully inserted. Once the adapter is connected, make sure you orient it horizontally so it does not interfere with tilting this display as shown in the image below.
