Acer recommends updating Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver on all systems with Optane memory

Why do I get a pop up message that says, "The following required driver update is critical to ensuring the stability of the system."

Acer has posted an updated Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver that helps improve stability of systems that include Optane memory. Users with systems that will benefit from this driver update will be automatically prompted to install the new driver as shown in the screenshot below. Click Install Now and follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated driver. The installation will not complete until the system is restarted after the driver is installed. If you do not receive the automatic notification to update the driver, you can download and install IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver Hot Fix 16.7.8.1024 from the Acer Drivers and Manuals page.
