PH517-51 may not detect external speakers or headphones

This article only applies to: Predator Helios 500 (PH517-51)

Acer has posted a new audio driver to address a detection issue with the PH517-51 headphone audio jack. Use the instructions below to download and install the latest Realtek audio driver to resolve this issue.

Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
Select Driver.
Click the Download link for the file you want to download (Realtek driver 6.0.1.8485 or later).
