This can happen while watching video or using any application. Restarting the computer may result in a black screen with the keyboard backlight on.</p> <br><p>SOLUTION</p> <p>Acer has released BIOS version 1.15 to resolve this issue.</p> <p><br></p><ol><li>Visit the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers">Drivers and Manuals section</a> of the Acer support website.</li> <li>Enter your <strong>Serial Number/SNID</strong> or search for your product by Model.</li> <li>Select BIOS/Firmware.</li> <li>Click the Download link for the file you want to download (BIOS version 1.15 or later).</li> <li>Unzip the file and double-click <b>DH53F115.exe</b> to install the BIOS update.</li> </ol>The issue should be resolved once the new BIOS is installed.
