You may receive the error "Cannot get the latest update from server" if you are running an older version of ProShield. You will need to install the latest version of ProShield for your system to resolve this issue. Use the following steps to to download and install the latest version of ProShield.
- Type Programs and Features in the Windows search box.
- Select Programs and Features from the list of search results.
- Click on Acer ProShield and select Uninstall to remove ProShield.
- Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
- Enter your Serial Number or SNID, or select your product.
- Select Application.
- Download and install the ProShield application to resolve the error.
