Chromebook display may be distorted or pixelated when powered on - Acer Community

You can see examples of this in the images below. This is caused by a recent driver update to the Chrome operating system. A new version of Chrome OS 64 will be released soon and automatically pushed to your device to resolve this issue.</p> <p> Use the following steps to restart your Chromebook to make the display appear normally again.</p> <ol><li>Press and hold the power key until the Chromebook powers off. It may take up to five seconds.<br></li><li>Press the power key again to power the device back on.
