Embedded Battery Must Only be Removed or Replaced By an Acer Authorized Repair Center

Why am I getting a prompt on my phone asking me not to remove or replace the battery on my Acer Liquid Zest or Liquid Zest Plus?

The battery in the Liquid Zest and Liquid Zest Plus is not designed to be removed or replaced by the user. As a result, Acer has proactively sent an update to your device to warn of the potential dangers of removing the battery. The prompt will look similar to the screen below. Once you read and acknoledge the prompt, you can click OK to continue using your phone normally.

If you are having problems with your phone, you can reboot it by holding the Power key down for ten seconds. The phone will power off, then will restart and come back on. If you continue to have problems with your phone, please contact Acer support.
