Predator PT715-51 gaming performance may be reduced if the top cover is closed

Acer recommends the cover of the notebook remains open even when using an external monitor. The PT715-51 draws in cool air from the keyboard and surrounding upper surface. The CPU and GPU will run hotter if the notebook is closed. These components will automatically slow down to reduce power and operating temperature, if the system becomes too warm.
