I have a 2019 PH315-52 with a HTC 2060 Intel i7 and 16 GB of ram... however every single game I play does not go above 60 fps and most of the time it doesn't even get to 60, more like 20-40 fps. I used to think it was a hardware issue but it has pretty decent specs. No matter if I have games on the very lowest settings or the max it will still sit around 40 fps. I regularly update everything and even with an external fan stand and turbo mode on still it doesn't change. The temperatures sit at around 80 degrees Celsius so I don't think that is effecting it and even if it does I've got an external cooler so that's a warranty issue. Like I said it makes no difference even if games are at the lowest settings so It can't be v sync or anything I've tried all that. Please help most games are unplayable

Btw, the PH315-52 has a GeForce® GTX 1660Ti graphics and not the HTC 2060? How did you get HTC 2060 as that is a desktop graphics card? Anyway, update your NVIDIA drivers to the latest and get the "GeForce Experience" software from NVIDIA and use their game settings for your games, also put your NVIDIA Control Panel at manage 3D Settings to High-performance NVIDIA processor and try that and see if your fps increase.

Yeah sorry I meant GTX 2060 lmao idk why it changed it to that. I've done all that in the past except the last part I'll try that now. Just to confirm what sort of fps should I see on most AAA games just so i know?

Tried all that and it did actually boost my fps to around 60 consistently but it's not really getting above that. With the hardware I would expect more than that on most games right?
  • When you connect an external monitor, does the fps increase?

I think your games are running in intel GPU not in nvidia gaming GPU.

Just make sure you are using latest nvidia software version and follow these steps-

    1. Right Click on your desktop

    2. Click NVIDIA Control Panel

    3. Click Manage 3D Settings on the left menu

    4. Click the drop down menu for Preferred graphics processor under the Global Settings tab

    5. Select High-performance NVIDIA processor from the list

    6. Click Apply to save your changes.

    7. Now, you can play your game

If problem still persists then download, run userbenchmark and post result page link

    2)play your game for 5min
3)After 5mins, close your game and maximize/open predator sense
    4)post screenshot of that screen
