The consumer research company Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien (Society for Consumer Studies) GmbH (ÖGVS) recently honored Acer Austria with awards for customer satisfaction and customer service. The pair of awards were distributed following an analysis of 1,894 companies, 10 of which were included in the category of technology—notebook manufacturing, altogether incorporating more than 320,000 customer opinions.
Respondents were asked a variety of questions such as how was your experience with the customer service of the following company in the category of [technology]. These results were then averaged. Acer took second place in the customer service category with 7.21 points, and also placed among the top three for customer satisfaction with 7.22 points.
