I am unfamiliar with that system, but it's running a processor with a 13W TDP, it shouldn't be too hard to cool.

I'm writing from an A515-54G right now with several things going on and the fans are stopped or very silent. They do get crazy when I do demanding tasks and it's more noticeable now that we're in summer over here and temperatures are already high enough, but that's to expect.

Maybe the curves need to be adjusted for the A515-55? You were having overheating issues as well, which could be related (or not). Let's see if another A515-55 user chimes in and explains what they're experiencing.

Which firmware revision were you running before? Maybe you could rollback to that one for the time being.

It was some version from november 2019 I don't remember exactly. It just heats and make noise while charging . It heats normally but not that much but yes it heats and I don't perform any high end tasks . Fans are working right now and there is also some chirrping sound . only edge is running nothing else

can you please check something in your system for me. when laptop is working in a quiet room can you hear some chirrr type voice from the fan . please check it for me . my fan and heating issue are resolved after updating bios and windows but whenever I put my ear close to fan I hear a chirr kind of voice . and it isn't hearable from normal working position

Tried to get the fan to speed up but the only thing I could hear was the sound of air going through the fins, its pitch was higher the faster the fan was rotating but nothing out of the ordinary  :/

the area in front of keyboard in left side its get hot a little but the temperatures are around 50 on average use ambient around 35 . Is this Normal to get the area a little hot not that it is super hot to touch but the difference can  be felt  very easily

Judging by what I experience in the A515-54G it seems to be, that's where the CPU is located underneath. I wonder if it is because these Aspires are cheap-ish and there isn't much isolation in that regard... I don't recall it being so noticeable in other machines.
