Hi I have a question regarding the ref nit value on the X27P. I have recently purchased this monitor and have noticed all picture modes in HDR are locked at 80nits, now my friend has the X27 and his has different ref nit values depending on which picture mode he uses, for example he uses racing mode in HDR and the ref nit value is lock at 180 which seems a lot brighter than mine which is locked at 80. Is there anyway this can be adjusted? If not what’s the reasoning at locking it at 80 nits on the X27P

unfortunately not it seems they changed the nit values on the newer models and they are fixed to that value as it gives the most accurate HDR image available apparently

    Well that sucks:(

Why even lock it in the first place. Everyone should be able to decide for themselves what image is output to the Monitor even if it is not the most accurate

Well seems like i have to stick to SDR for most titles then....
