Acer NItro 515-54, usb to vga, or hdmi, not for gaming, for sdr transceiver

hi

i dont game, i bought and used my nitro 5 for use with my software defined radios, ham radio.

i also bought a couple 27" samsung curved monitors, as i need two. BUT, i do not need 4k, or hdmi, and my monitors have vga and hdmi only

i have 3 usb ports and a usb c port, is their any way i can connect for usb to monitor

    Sorry but no, none of the Nitro 5 series support Video using USB including USB C, the USB C in the Nitro 5 series is USB C 3.1 gen 1 so you are stuck with HDMI or VGA if your model has it

    but I couldn’t sell my nitro, it’s too good😁

    and 

    i have found a work around, for my radio at home involving my windows 10 desktop, downgraded to windows 7, and a graphics card from a “highland clearances era” dell 5150,
    i now have  2 screens

    I was given a small usb adapter, which ive inserted in a usb slot, and now can have multiple screens on my acer nitro 5

    I now have laptop screen, vga screen, and hdmi screen. on my Nitro 5, extended and different pages running on each screen,

    Can you please advice how you did it? Is there a driver or update I have to do to get it to work? I have an adapter from usb to hdmi, and one from usb-c to hdmi, but none of them works.
