Network issues

I'm having several issues with connecting to the internet on my A515-43-R4Z2. Under Linux (both Mint and Pop OS) I can connect to the internet using wireless, but not using ethernet. It recognizes the wired connection, but fails to get a working internet connection. I tried installing Realtek Linux drivers for ethernet, but it didn't end up helping.

I re-installed Windows 10, and it's even worse there. I can't seem to turn on wireless networking, and the wired connection has the same issues as Linux. I updated/re-installed Windows drivers from this website, but nothing changed.

For some reason, it seems like the Acer machine fails to obtain an IP address for LAN. I've checked that the ethernet connection works on another machine. I'd appreciate any help with this issue.
