I was wondering if there is any way to turn off the lights on the logo located on the top/lid of the laptop. I believe this also applies to predator helios 300 laptops. Does anyone have any idea? I checked in predator sense and I don't see any option to turn it off. Any help is appreciated

This must be a common Acer issue. Helios 500 also has tons of lights that can't be turned off and it irritates me. Such a basic oversight on such technological machines.

Khelgar I dont find it to be an oversight after all they are gaming machines they are supposed to look cool either on lighting or design i dont have neither see any issues with any lighting on gaming laptops the more the better otherwise i wouldnt had got a gaming laptop if it was supposed to just look like a normal laptop i would just get a normal one instead (as i already have 6 normal ones) the point here its for everyone to notice you everywhere you go :)

And there should be a way to whoever doesnt want the lighting working probably some lighting cable can be disconnected permanently but again whats the point of owning a gaming laptop if the lighting its one of the main features and the lighting its probably a great percentage of  the total you are paying for anyway

Well I mean I disagree, a lot of people buy gaming LAPTOPS to have mobility because they are also working or a student and don't want something very flashy, that's why a lot of people buy laptops rather than a gaming PC.
But either way for the sake of customizability and the money people have spent on the Triton and Helios I feel like there should be at least one way to disable the lights other than having to remove the lid and disconnect the wire

The point of owning a gaming laptop is to get a machine with strong performance and high level innards, not for its christmas tree looks. Not everyone who buys these machines is a young lad that want to impress others with his shiny new laptop bought by his dad. Some of us are older lads who use these machines for more than gaming. Every light should've been dimmable to suit the both sides.
