Hi my model name is Nitro N50-600 and part number is DG.E0HEK.001. I'm looking on upgrading the SSD and ram, I'm not that tech savvy so any help would be appreciated.

I currently have a 128gb SSD already with the OEM/OS installed on there (unsure whether it's an M.2 or standard 2.5") so don't know what SSD to pick online. The ram is also DDR4 8gb ram and I don't know what ram to select either. I used Crucial's online advisor tool which were giving me results for these:

Thanks

Here I leave the service manual information.

    Memory
    Supports DDR4 2666 / 2400MHz DDR4 SDRAM with Dual-channel architecture
    Accommodates four un-buffered DIMMs

    Expansion Options
The motherboard comes with the following expansion options:
One PCI Express x16 slot for Graphic Interface
    One PCI Express x1 slot
One M.2 (2242/2280) for PCIe SSD and Intel Optane memory
    One M.2 (2230/1630) with USB2.0 for WLAN / Bluetooth

Hi thanks for the quick response! Very helpful.

If you don't mind me asking, the One M.2 slot for PCIe SSD, is that currently occupied by the SSD in my system at the moment, do you know? If so that's fine and I'm aware I can migrate over to the new SSD when installing it, correct?

And sorry to sound like a noob, but the Intel Optane memory, does that come with certain SSD's?

    Thanks

I understand that leaving the factory with a 1 TB HDD, then the socket, for PCIe M2 SSD or for an INTEL optane, is free.

You can make use of software to know it as Piriform Speccy

    Regards.

So I can leave the HDD currently in there and swap out the SSD with a new M2 PCIe SSD and migrate the drive over?

    Thanks

    Also hi again

If I wanted to install a 2.5 inch SSD alongside my HDD is that possible?
