Hi all,
Just bought a brand new Chromebook 14 CB3-431-C5K7. My son is a magician (has one too) but we can't seem to make the (internal) audio work. Bluetooth speakers work fine, headphone and internal speakers do not.
We tried about everything: powerwash, checking all settings... No results. Please help us out!
Cheers, Anne

    Try hard reset and check

    Hard reset your Chromebook

For most Chromebooks, follow the steps below:

    1. Turn off your Chromebook.
    2. Press and hold Refresh Refresh + tap Power Shut down
    3. When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh Refresh.

Than i guess it should be something hardware related issue. Since is a new laptop you can check with the store or can send it in for repair to Acer

I'm going to send it back to the store. Thanks for your help! Much appreciated!

I'm experiencing the identical problem on the same model chromebook.  can't get any help/solution from acer!!  I even performed a powerwash after the refresh failed to correct the issue and the problem still persists.

I sent it back and bought a new one. Problem solved ;-) Seemed to have been a hardware issue.
