Travelmate P645 - M - 9611 : Where to order replacement battery

My battery died in my Travelmate P645. I found one online and installed it. Worked fine initially, but laptop switched contantly between charging and not charging when plugged in and battery went dead after 6 months.

I am willing to spend the money for a genuine replacement battery, **but there is not information on the ACER websites** which model I need to buy or where I could get it.

Any information would be welcome.

Cheers,

    Hello,
Here are the Acer part numbers of the original batteries:

    KT.00303.002 - BATTERY.LI-POL.3C.4850mAh
    KT.00304.006 - BATTERY.POLY.4850MAH.MAIN

    Thanks a lot!

Is there any difference between those part numbers? All of them are "AP12A3i" batteries, but one of the suppliers offers one for $10 more than the other without any details regarding their differences.

Please note : At least one of the Canadian suppliers on the link seems to be out of business.

I had constant problems with win7 reminding me about my factory battery nearing the end of it's life.  Multiple battery replacemenst gave me a repeated bios beep and an incomplete charge until I upgraded to Win10 and all problems went away.
