I've just purchased a new SF514-53T model and would be keen to know if this can be charged via USB-C. Thanks!

    Good Morning andwtc !

What exact model of your laptop?
Some versions have USB-Type C that SUPPLIES power to load other devices but the aptop can not be loaded by this connection.

It would be really helpful if you might take the time to clarify, is the answer to the question Yes or No?

Does the USBC port in that model number support charging of the laptop, please, if you know.

@CWhat the last line of MaClane's answer is the key. That ports supports 45W DC-In at 20V, so it does charge via the USB-C as long as your charger is providing at least 45W at 20V.
