If you are using high demanding apps/games it's normal that the battery will kick in to help the adapter to provide enough power if you use it for long periods of time on demanding tasks  the battery should only start to charge when it reaches 40% or less and that would affect performance as the adpter cannot provide power for both cpu and gpu and battery at the same time but if you use it for short periods of time the battery will start to charge whne it goes below 95% for ex if u use a demanding program/game for 20 or 30mnts that requires the battery to kick in its completely normal that whnen you stop using it or pause it that the adapter will recharge the battery to 100% again but you can try a battery power drain by pressing the battery pinhole for 30s and let it rest for 10 to 20 mnts then boot into bios and reset setup defaults to see if that helps u can also test your adapter with a voltmeter and check if it's outputing the correct voltage required if your laptop it's shuting down by itself you have thermal issues i advise optimize windows/undervolt and if needed repaste with kryonaut
