Having trouble finding any information on this monitor

I was searching for a new monitor when one caught my eye on newegg.(Acer VG271U Pbmiipx UM.HV1AA.P01). It claims to be 144hz, IPS, 1MS response 1440p, freesync and have some type of hdr support. I cannot find a single monitor like that listed anywhere else on acers website or any other merchants. I was wondering if anyone had a link to a better set of information on it. I doubt it comes with 1MS response times or 144hz out of the box but it doesnt indicate anything regarding overclocking which seems odd because most ips panels have trouble with 144hz. I have a link to the newegg listing as well as a potentially lower end 1080p version with similar specifications. The one im confused about: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824011278 ..... The one that is most similar to it: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-VG271-Pbmiipx-Technology-DisplayHDR400/dp/B07MDXF81K/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1546932458&sr=1-1&keywords=acer++vg271

Yeah the U model is new enough I can't find anything else either. Give it a couple of weeks and it should be up with full specs.

Finally found it on the website with  a bit more digging. Also seems to support freesync up to 144hz https://store.acer.com/en-sg/monitors/performance/nitro-vg271u-p Really wish there was a place to contact them though and ask about an amazon release.

I just got my VG271U today and hooked it up.  Beautiful monitor, but, running into a weird issue and looks like I may need to RMA.

Posted about it on Reddit.  Any ideas if I have a faulty monitor or could it be something else?

Hi, I'm not sure that's the panel of vg271up, this panel it is 95% dci-pc like the xv272up tech specs on acer's websitewebsi, but the vg271up tech specs says srgb 100%:
    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/UM.HV1AA.P01
Can you please help me understand? Alternatively who can I comtact to learn about the differences between vg271up and xv272up? I am looking for information for a long time with no success.
    Thank you!

Both monitors are shipped with the same LCD panel:
    • UM.HV1AA.P01 - VG271U Pbmiipx
    • UM.HX2AA.P03 - XV272U Pbmiiprzx (not yet available)
I confirm it's the right LCD panel. ;) FYI, DCI-P3 has a 25% larger color gamut than sRGB so... they can write 100% sRGB.

    Thanks for your answer mate!
    I really appreciate it.
My general problem is: in all the forums people say that the only difference between VG271UP and XV272UP is the stand, BUT
The tech specs online are identical except for the srgb 100% vs dci-p3 95%, as I mentioned
You are right in saying that they can write srgb 100% if it's dci-p3 but I am trying to understand if VG271U supports DCI-P3 at all? if XV272UP will have better color gamut support?
    Thank you in advance :)

I still don't understand the limits of this monitor. The only way I can get it to do 144hz is if I change the color to 6bit. Am I doing something wrong, or is there something wrong with the monitor?
