hlo everyone about a month ago I bought my Acer laptop and it’s been running fine but yesterday evening my CPU and GPU spike up and now I only get 20-15 frames in game This happens after updating my drivers I’ve since tried to rollback the update but nothing changed

You need to reinstall an older driver, the 417.01 of Nov 26, 2018 here "https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/140341"

First go to control panel, uninstall a program, and remove "NIVIDIA Graphics Driver 417.22" and all other NVIDIA drivers to make sure. Restart and install the 417.01, restart again, make sure in the NVIDIA control panel "MANAGE 3D settings" that global settings are set to "High
-performance NVIDIA processor" scroll down to "power management mode" and set it to "prefer maximun performance". Finally restart again, and you are ready to go.

No need to uninstall the driver neither restart it's windows 10 not windows 95 just select clean install and it will delete the current one automatically and replace it or for those who want to make sure use DDU and an advice for everyone disable the auto update on GE to avoid future issues because if no one noticed yet the nvidia gpu drivers devs don't test the drivers they just send it out for all of us to become guinea pigs same as game devs with the betas if it works it works if it doesn't they will get the feedback of the issue and will sort it out in the next release all feedback is in the nvidia geforce forum so before updating the gpu driver check the feedback first
