I have an Aspire E15 laptap, not quite 2 years old.  Just noticed the left hinge is coming apart.  I have to keep pushing it back together.

That is a huge problem. if it breaks, that could ruin your screen. be careful with it. I would contact acer support to have it repaired. is it under warranty?

If your computer is still under warranty, contact acer support to get it repaired. otherwise, you should pay to get it repaired.

I have the same laptop. I've had it for a year. And the right hinge is now coming apart really bad. It's taking the plastic off the front of the screen around the edges. And I can't even fully open it or close it now. Because it's just coming apart. I have never had this problem with any of my other laptops, different brands, and I don't know what to do. I can't afford to take it to get fixed. Any advice?

Unfortunately, as many spoke prior to me, this is a huge issue. Acer is well aware of this and has been repairing machines that are under the warranty coverage. If not, the hinge will cost around $40 if I am not wrong where you can find YouTube videos to do this by yourself. The only issue is that you have chances of ruining your screen. Be careful!

For those out of warranty or with no money, carefully get the hinge exposed, back into place and use hot glue to put it back together. Will work better than new.
