hey guys I’m trying to use discord on my Nitro, and whenever I use my mic (xbox1 3.5mm jack) I hear the game volume and the chat in the headset, is there any way I can hear the game volume through the speakers and the chat through the head set?

I guess you are connecting the jack inside your controller. By default you are using it as a Bluetooth device. The chat and other audio will all be relayed to this Bluetooth device. If your chat software has an option to select output device, select your speakers. If you're using chat on Steam, you can change Steam's audio output settings. If you are using Teamspeak, you can simply change the chat out to a speaker and that will help you. One other option is to reduce the volume on your game so the chat evens the sound.
    BElieve in YOUrself.

My controller is connected via usb.. when I connected the headset through the controller I could hear the game and not the chat, so I connected the headset using the headphone jack on the computer, I tried changing the output to the speakers in discord and it did nothing with both the mic plugged into the controller and the computers jack
