hi, I've bought this model three weeks ago. Everything was fine until i tried to connect it to my LG HDTV through HDMI port. So many workarounds I've tried but the tv just shows the 'no signal' message!
Please if anyone knows a fix for it help me cuz this is so annoying!!

Can you confirm if you are able to connect to your tv with some other laptop ?
If yes, you can call acer support and request for an on-site fix.
For the time being i ll try to do some more research and let you know if i find anything relevant.
    Hope that helped you.

Perhaps a port problem? Try switching the port and which I assume that you've already. You can alternatively try switching the cable and see if it helps m8.
    BElieve in YOUrself.

Thanks for your comment. I've  tried all of them! Guess this is an old problem with optimus featured nvidia graphics.
I'm trying to find out if anyone else have this problem with this model and how to fix it!

    Try this:

Connect your laptop to the TV.  Go to Control Panel then to Display then select Project to a second screen and finally select project to second screen only.
    Hope that helped you.

right! I've formatted the hole hdd, then installed the latest win 10 pro release fully updated, all drivers downloaded and installed from acer site and updated by windows, after each step tried to connect to tv trough HDMI and tried all types of multi display mode by fn+f5 and got nothing except "no signal'. I tried to change the cable (HDMI 2.0 and 4k support) and two HD TVs. tried to connect by an active HDMI to VGA adapter.(sure that all of them work fine with other HDMIs) again nothing. when I connect it to my TV, in the PhysX section of Nvidia control panel it shows only the 1050 ti connected to LG electronics HD TV. in device manager shows two displays one connected to intel hd 630 and the other to gtx 1050ti. actually in both intel and NVidia control panels only show one display connected. its been one month since I bought this laptop. before formatting and reinstalling windows I had a problem with right click on desktop cuz every time it lagged about 0.2 sec! never tried the HDMI so I updated the bios which provided by acer for my laptop downloading from it's site and reinstalled the windows. after that I still had the problem but realized that my HDMI not working too! now I have both problems!
    any idea?!

My problem with HDMI was, i could get the display to work but no audio though.
I fixed my problem by installing windows 10 home edition.
Even i was using pro first.
If you will ask acer support they ll tell you that the drivers available on their site are actually windows 10 home drivers which kind of makes sense coz most of the laptops come with home edition pre-installed and not pro.

I recommend  installing home edition which might even solve your other problem.

Let me know if that works! :)
    Hope that helped you.
