    Hi

    No not really.

To stay connected I set a lomg lease time for mine.

    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.13(Preferred)
       Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
       Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : 27 August 2017 08:54:16
       Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : 03 September 2017 08:54:22
       Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
       DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

I have set other things like a IP allocation (so there is no clash or conflict), named the Gateway and DNS server.  Control Panel  Network and Sharing Centre, and look at Properties.

It is on a low usage channel to avoid signal swamping, I set the Beacon Interval to 100, transmit power to 5 Highest and a few other things, like not letting it go into power saving mode.

But your case may be different.  Not seeing any WiFi locally suggests it is powered down, hence the Power Saving option.  I can type a command to find other information.  Other commands to try and reset the connection.  But they may not be appropriate.

    If in doubt please ask.
