Title says it, metal headphone jack started causing mild to severe shocks , rendering it unusable without rubber gloves.  The USB is pretty easy not to touch the metal as it is inserted.  Has anyone else dealt with this?

    Hi,

You need to get in touch with Acer Support to get it serviced by them.

    Hello @spacecase,

I'm sorry that you're having issues with the USB and headphone jack on your Aspire V Nitro laptop.  If this product's AC adapter is equipped with a three-wire grounded plug. The plug only fits in a grounded power outlet. Make sure the power outlet is properly grounded before inserting the AC adapter plug.  Do not insert the plug into a non-grounded power outlet.

If you're connecting to a power strip or extension cord, please try connecting it a wall outlet.

If you're still experiencing this issue, please send me a PM with the SNID of your unit so I can look into this.
