    Hi,

Check whether it's switched on, go to start, settings, Devices, click Touchpad in the left pane. Get the version of driver installed, go to Device manager(right click start), expand Mice and other pointing devices, highlight the pointing device and click Properties, go to Driver tab and find the version.

You try to check mouse settings

Press the Windows Key and type change mouse settings in the Search field, then press Enter.
In the Mouse Properties window that opens, locate your touchpad settings. They are usually under the far right tab next to Hardware (the name of the tab varies from manufacturer to manufacturer).
Makesure there is a check in the box next to Enable touchpad.
Adjust any other settings to your liking, then click Apply, then OK.
    Check your touchpad.

Is there a reason why you installed 32bit?
