Found on YouTube:

'No flash firmware, no bios mod.
Enter BIOS. Press Fn + Tab. Save and exit. Retry enter bios. Unlock Advanced and power menu done. Thanks.'

 

Note: I think after reboot in Windows, menu is standard again.

    The link you gave is dead. I think you wanted to link to the pagelink below, but I have no clue why you did this ... The TS from the link below asked about advanced settings he needed, and the accepted solution was a referral to a BIOS hack-site, since 'the manufacturer' (Acer) would't help him.

     

    Contrary to this, the tip in the youtube link I referred to does actually unlock the advanced BIOS menu on my V5-573G, without any hack.

    well I tried that on my

    acer e15-553g-17jh

    Model number:     A12-9700P

      Insyde v1.18 aa

    That keystroke combination was a dud. any further suggestions ?

    e5 573 does in fact work for me. after you press fn + tab it seems as if it did nothing. just save and exit anyway. then reload the bios! sure enough... advanced settings! thank you man

    i was able to increase the vram on my e5 573 like a charm with this. thanks again
