IT takes way too long to start e1 532 2616. Sometimes it takes over an hour to start or doesn't' start at all. On power up fan runs disc drive light flashes. Then nothing. Hdd  light blinks continuously. Tried without battery same result. Also can not get into bios. Just does not go into bios. There is just a black screen. If it starts it works perfectly. Running windows 7. Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem mate!
But my notebook is Aspire-E5-551G running on win 10.
It wasn't there earlier! I'm experiencing it say from 2-3 weeks!
I thought the grahics driver may be the issue and tried uninstalling it. I tried installing the latest version but still the problem persists.

The display works fine if it would boot. There is no info from the bios. No report of missing OS or drive not found. The issue started slowly. First it started taking longer and longer to boot. Now it seems like it will not boot at all. Tried removing battery and holding power button down to reset. No go. Removed all peripherals. No go. All blue lights on with Hdd light blinking continually. Time to buy a new laptop. Not Acer.

It is just over a year old. Out of warranty of course.
