If it is still installed, you can find your version and download the update, which may fix it.

    http://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdvd-ultra/patches_en_US.html

You will get the program reinstalled if you do a Factory Recovery.

    Thank you ACE,

Unfortunately I deleted the original program because it did not work anymore after the update......

So, my question is still alive!

    Try this,

    Go to C:/OEM/preload/Autorun/Autorunx/Autorunx/ click OK

    Hello ACE,

    No....

This app shows just manuals in many languages and drivers for the initial situation.

Apart are software libraries in this directory for Acer care center, abinstaller, color_finetune and some others.

No, there is no such installer like PowerDVD....

ps: my system is a laptop Aspire Nitro VN7-792G-79BL

I thought it was worth a try, but it was from 2012 so, I wasn't to hopeful. Save all your personal data and do a Factory Restore. That's about the only way you will get it back.

Have you looked at VideoLAN VLC media player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

It's the #1 alternative to PowerDVD and it's free.
