Acer Aspire M581t keyboard screws. I cannot find the right size screwdriver to remove these.

I saw in another thread that the screws are M1.4 x 1.0

 

I'm not quite sure what that means? Does that mean I need a 1.4mm phillips head? I thought phillips heads weren't measured like that.

    I use these. Find the one that locks into the screw best. If they are real tight and maybe have some thread lock on them, I hold pressure down on the screwdriver and turn the barrel of the screwdriver with a small pliar.This "M1.4 x 1.0" is missing a number.

    They don't have a brand on them. This set is probably 40 years old. Just get yourself some decent precision screwdrivers.
